International Phonetic Alphabet Keyboard

Introduction

Here you will find a keyboard layout designed to access the symbols in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). These symbols are used by linguists to write the sounds of languages without an orthography. Here we offer a version created for the Brazilian national keyboard (ABNT/ABNT2). Layouts for other keyboards (US, UK) can be found on the SIL International site; to access them, click here.
